About the grounds Primitive Camping Ground

Centrally located in West Kempsey, the Kempsey Showground is the perfect place to stay. 

We providing sites with power and water, plenty of room to park up for a night or set the pegs deep while you explore the Macleay Valley. Our facility includes security gates and amenities with sites to cater for a single vehicle through to large RV's and motorhomes. Drive though access to sites for people towing caravans can be arranged.

​Visitor stay, maximum of 21 consecutively days (4 days for tents) and a total of 50 days per year. 

Camping fees $30 per site, per night (up to two people), $5.00 for each additional person. 

Fees include power, water and use of serviced amenities, access to public dump point (grey water must be collected). 

Accessing to the Camping Ground 

Check in from 11:00am to 5.30pm  

Gates close: 5:30pm non daylight savings – Winter;    6.30pm daylight savings and warmer months

STABLING AND HORSE TRANSPORT

We cater to the equine industry, transporting horses up and down the coast. Kempsey sits directly in the middle of the horse transport route between Sydney and Brisbane.

We have easy to access undercover stables, turning areas for the longer vehicles, camping close to the stables, on-site amenities, locked grounds and plenty of parking with access to power and water. Horses not to be left over night unattended.

Stables Price: $10 per horse, per night
